I Help Manual Testers Become World-Class Test Automation Engineers. Agile Test Automation and BDD Expert | International Speaker And Author | Coach, Trainer and Mentor
After years of hard work, long nights, despair and inner struggles (and that was just our editors!), the second edition of "BDD In Action" is finally out! This new edition is a pretty much a total rewrite of the first edition - if you liked the first one, you'll love the second edition even better, and if you've not read the first one, then you are in for a treat! BDD in Action covers the entire BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) process, from collaborative requirements discovery techniques that help you discover and understand what you really need to build, to modern automation practices that help ensure that you actually built it! The end result! High quality features delivered sooner, more engaged, creative teams, and happier customers! As a bonus, Manning is offering a 45% launch discount, available until April 27th (use the "pbsmart2" discount code): 👉 Get your copy now: http://mng.bz/4KVV #BDD #SoftwareDevelopment #TestAutomation
Congrats, John. FYI - the link posted shows a 35% discount
I don't see the launch discount anywhere on the site
Congratulations John. You never know, if there are parents on paid leave, or private pilots licence holders who have an interest in software test, you'll be on the pigs back 😂 🐖 😂
BDD I believe is such an import part of #softwaredevelopment. Without it you are building 'wants', not 'needs'.
Mmm. I bought the Meap but never had time to follow along.... Now it must be an excuse to start over.
When you introduce acronyms please spell out their long forms. How many people are ignoring your post because they do not understand what BDD stands for "Something Driven Development?"
I will surely buy this one. I read the first edition cover to cover more than once.
Top Software Developer, Management, Business Strategist. I make all your IT dreams come true.
1yHow did nobody notice the cover does not define BDD? The original version had a long title defining the abbreviation. Google "BDD" returns top question "Is BDD a serious mental illness?" Do you need a better coauthor, editor, or publisher? Can you fix the cover? Can you prevent bookstores (and Amazon) from putting your book in the medical section? Will this version with the ambiguous title become a collector's item like a mis-struck coin? 20230413
