☠ Another cloud outage (was it DNS or BGP). I could continue the DevOOPs cynicism, but there's nothing funny about a global outage that affects the user experience of millions of people. 😈 It's why thought leaders like David Linthicum talks about companies "repatriating" from the cloud back to on-prem datacenters, and the need for a more resilient cloud - the Supercloud/Metacloud/Hybrid cloud. I think this is the year we get that subject gets prioritized. If it was caused by BGP, it's becoming a recurrent failure which is causing many of the outages lately and imposing a high risk for companies. Back in 2021 it happened to meta, which caused a global outage of Facebook and Whatsapp
