Long time ago when I was an SDET, I had a manager who had an OKR based on test pass percentage. I.e if a test is flaky I would loose bonus $$. I wish I've written this article back then ... https://lnkd.in/g_dekKeR

What do flaky tests and AI has in common? You can't trust them blindly. If you run a flaky suite 10 times, you can get 10 different results and the same can be said of generative AI. So, you still have to use your human judgement and intuition to judge the results.

Programming and computers are one of those rare things that you can deal with in binary. Its either true or false. Don't mess up that simplicity by introducing `allow_failure: true` in your CI pipelines.

When delivering a successful banking application at a scale, like the Chase Mobile App, you have to frequently publish a reliable and updated platform at a speed that exceeds demand. No big deal, right? Well, considering the Chase Mobile App is used by over 54 million users with over 20 mobile logins per user, per month - that’s definitely a big deal! As banking practices continue to evolve, our Chase Mobile App team has successfully adapted to meet our customers’ changing needs. How did we do it? We’ve integrated and operationalized new release processes, increasing our publishing cadence. This increased speed has enabled us to release updates every two weeks. To learn more about this evolution, check out this Next at Chase blog written by my colleague, Cedric Beust, PhD. #banking #mobile #digitaltechnology
