Here’s what I thought of my most recent #LinkedInLearning course.

I've had a fear of JavaScript for a very long time. It dawned upon me after playing with new automation tools like Playwright/Cypress that I am missing a lot. Discussions with Zeeshan Asghar helped clarify the idea further. Visual Studio Code makes learning JS a bliss. I've been learning Node.js for about a week now. As professionals, we must commit to lifelong learning. Seeing individuals dedicating at least ten minutes daily to learning is inspiring. I used this principle to create my Playwright GitHub repo, which now shows a nice list of commits. It's not uncommon to face challenges when learning something new. My experience with Cypress shows that sometimes, we need to step back and focus on building foundational knowledge, like my decision to learn more about Node.js before returning to Cypress. I also recognize the importance of adding soft skills to the mix.
