I did a thing!!! I published my first npm package which is a custom reporter for Playwright! Once installed and added to the reporter array in the playwright.config.ts you will have access to a summary.json file at the root of your project after every test run, which you can use for reporting, additional automated tests, or notifications. This week on Playwright Solutions I walk through all these things! Big thanks to Stephen Kilbourn for the inspiration, seeing his playwright-report which provides you with a customizable .txt file gave me the idea to post mine.
