I used to know Udi Hofesh as a very social person, a marketing professional, and a great friend at parties. Now I know he is much more than that; he is a true defender of Israel, just like thousands of other men and women, and like all the people of Israel. I am proud to know Udi Hofesh, and I am proud to witness the unity of the people of Israel. I will step in whenever I can to ensure that the terrorists will not achieve their goals. We stand with Israel!
Hey everyone! My name is Udi Hofesh, and I’m the guy behind Komodor’s posts on social media. For the last 1.5 weeks our channels were almost dead silent. Here’s why… On Saturday, October 7th, I woke up at 6am to the sound of sirens warning of an incoming rocket strike in Tel Aviv. Truth be told, I wasn’t entirely sure it wasn’t a false alarm so I went back to sleep. Only hours later when I was fully awake I found out the horror that was transpiring. Like all Komodorians, and Israelis in general, I watched the aweful events unfold in real-time. By “events” I mean the torture, rape, beheading, and slaughter of over 1,400 innocent civilians…women, children, babies Amongst the slain was our friend and community leader Sefi Gines of Firefly who was murdered at a music festival along hundreds of people that came out to celebrate love and freedom. My friend Aran Goren, a beautiful soul who was the linchpin of our squad and a certified “one of the boys”, was brutally murdered together with her mother. These atrocities terrorised our nation, and ensured another round of violence. I was called up for reserve duty in the Israeli army to provide aid to the people of Ofakim who had 50+ citizens murdered. After Hamas rockets hit civilian homes, our mission is to search for and rescue people trapped under the rubble. Almost everyone in Israel was hurt by the brutality of Hamas, including the Komodorians at our Tel Aviv site. However, we stand united, we are strong and resilient, we have love on our side, and we shall overcome! To all our friends, followers, customers, and Kommunity members - we are doing anything in our power to protect our homes and families while also providing you the best service. Stand with Komodor and Israel - your love and support mean the world to us (and me personally) 💙 Not pictured: all the amazing humans of Komodor working together during wartime to provide #Kubernetes reliability at scale. They are my inspiration.

Cool to find #Helm Dashboard standing side-by-side with Kubeshark :) People benefit from Open Source ecosystem around #k8s, that's the future I want to be part of.

4 kubernetes tools that will make your developers happy and more productive (read this) The tooling ecosystem around Kubernetes is rapidly improving. The following four tools will help you switch between contexts, inspect your workloads, and troubleshoot network issues. #1 kubectx A simple tool to switch between contexts in a single command: To use, simply run: $kubectx context-name And voilà, you're done. #2 Helm Dashboard Awesome tool by Komodor! The "Helm Dashboard" let's you visualize your Helm applications. Use this tool to inspect configmaps, pods, deployments, etc., and to quickly rollback your application. #3 KubeShark Think of KubeShark as the Wireshark for Kubernetes. This tool makes troubleshooting network issues in Kubernetes a breeze. #4 Mirrord Introducing my new favorite from MetalBear. Mirrord simplifies the development process on Kubernetes. Use this tool when your goal is to minimize the dependencies your developers require to build on Kubernetes. Which Kubernetes tool do you believe can help improve developers' productivity? #kubernetes

Ok, it gets too hard to keep this in "silent beta". Yes, we did create one more Open Source project that helps troubleshooting Crossplane resources. Your feedback is welcome! #crossplane #k8s #opensource
Komodor has been amazing in providing open source DevOps/Platform Engineering tools Their latest Komoplane is definitely worth checking out if you use Crossplane for IaC https://lnkd.in/gGZ9BkZy Thanks Andrey Pokhilko for your great work
